GM Colin Birkas is pleased to announce that, "Defenceman #24 Andrew Brown has committed to St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, for the 2025-2026 season".
Brown joined the Clippers this season after playing the previous two seasons with the Oakville Blades of the Ontario Junior Hockey League. In his time with the Blades, he scored 12 goals, had 41 assists and 83 minutes in penalties.
So far this season with the Clippers, Andrew has played in 29 games, scored 6 goals, had 14 assists and 28 minutes in penalties.
Andrew had this to say on his commitment, “I am extremely excited to spend the next chapter of my hockey career with the University of St. Lawrence. I’d like to thank everyone here in Nanaimo for the overwhelming support since I have arrived and helping me reach this goal of mine.”
St. Lawrence Saints ice hockey team is an NCAA Division 1 ice hockey program. They are a member of the ECAC and play in the Appleton Arena in Canton, New York.
