The Nanaimo Clippers proudly announce the first addition to their roster for the 2024-25 campaign, powerhouse forward, Morgan Hackman.
Born in Vernon, BC, Morgan Hackman brings a formidable combination of size, skill, and raw talent to the Clippers. As a late ’07-born player, Morgan already weighs 216 lbs. and stands tall at 6’3”.
Hackman has been making a significant impact so far in the 2023-24 season, tallying 4 goals and 6 assists in 15 games with the RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna U18 team. His performance to date has already caught the attention of some NCAA schools, signaling a bright future.
Coach Colin Birkas, expressed his excitement about the newest addition to the Clippers’ lineup. “Morgan has great size and possesses all the attributes to be a power forward in this league. With his size and strength, the only way to get a player like him is early, and develop him along the way. He’s the type of player that, in a year or so, no one would give up. He has the chance to be a force in this league sooner than later,” Birkas remarked.
Nanaimo Clippers fans can look forward to witnessing Hackman’s skills in action next September. Stay tuned for more updates as the Clippers fill out their 2024-25 roster.
