The Nanaimo Clippers have added a defenceman in 6’1”, 200 lb., Nathan Larioza.
He played last season for the Culver City Military Academy. In a combined 51 games he had 8 goals, 13 assists and 54 minutes in penalties.
Nathan hails from San Jose, California but holds dual US/Canadian citizenship.
The coaching staff remarked that Nathan has good size, is a smooth skating defender who competes hard in the D-zone and can make plays.
Nathan said this on joining the Clippers: “I’m excited to join the Clippers and can’t wait to hit the ice with such a storied franchise. It’s an incredible opportunity, and I’m eager to get started.”
Nathan will be wearing #3 for the Clippers.s
