The Nanaimo Clippers have added forward Patrick Fortune.
The 18-year-old, 5’8”, 160 lb. Torrance, California native joins the Clippers from the Philadelphia Rebels of the NAHL. Where in 52 games last season he had 8 goals, 15 assists and 26 penalty minutes.`
The Clippers’ coaching staff had this to say about Patrick: Fortune is a real buzz saw player. He plays fast and has bite. We will be able to play him all over the line-up. Patrick will make the team deeper and harder to play against.
Patrick had this to say on joining the Clippers: “The Clippers are a great organization, and I’m honored to be a part of it. I’m so excited to get the season going with the boys and bringing great success to the club and our fans.”
He is committed to the College of the Holy Cross. He will be wearing the #10 jersey.
