Former Nanaimo Clippers forward David Silye is participating in the Washington Capitals development camp this week.
David played for the Clippers in the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 seasons. In that time he played in 117 regular season and playoff games. He recorded 21 goals and 44 assists for 63 points.
He then spent two years playing for the Penticton Vees before moving on to the NCAA, where he is presently playing NCAA Div. 1 hockey at Minnesota State University (Mankato).
