The Clippers have added forward Makaio Van Tassel to the line-up.
The 18-year-old forward hails from Brentwood, Tennessee and played last season for the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL. Last season, in his first year of junior hockey, he played in 40 games, scored two goals and had seven assists.
The coaching staff remarked that Makaio has speed and skill and will be a very exciting player for the Nanaimo fans to watch.
