The BCHL Nanaimo Clippers have committed to forward Noah Alvarez, adding a prominent talent to their roster for the upcoming season. Born on March 30, 2003, in Los Angeles, California, Alvarez brings a wealth of skill to the team.
Standing at 5’11” and weighing 185 lbs, Alvarez is known for his versatility on the ice. As a right-handed shooter, he has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), playing for Camrose Kodiaks during the 2022-23 season. In 60 games, he showcased his offensive prowess, tallying 14 goals and 24 assists for a total of 38 points. Alvarez also made an impact during the playoffs, contributing 2 goals and 2 assists in 4 games.
Alvarez is quick to credit his former team for his success to date. “Camrose has done a lot for me and there are a lot of great people in that organization I couldn’t thank enough,” Noah said. Looking forward to his time in Nanaimo, Alvarez is eager to embrace the present and fully experience the atmosphere at Nanaimo’s home games and what the city has to offer as a whole.
