WE ARE BACK AT THE FRANK!!!
After playing our first two games of the exhibition season at Cliff McNabb arena, the ice is back in Frank Crane arena and we will be playing there tonight. Players and staff are looking forward to once again playing within the confines of the Frank.
For the first time, this exhibition season, the Clippers take on their long-time rival the Cowichan Valley Capitals, tonight at 7 p.m. The Clippers enter the match having won last Saturday night 4-3, against the Bulldogs in Alberni.
Clippers hold a 3 win, 2 loss record for 6 points in the Island Division. While the Capitals have a 2 win, 3 loss record for 4 points.
Leading the Clippers in scoring is veteran #17 Sean Donaldson, who in five games has 3 goals and 5 assists for 8 points. Tied with four points are #22 Tim Washe, #19 Nick DeSantis, #18 Kyler Kovich and #27 Trevor LeDonne.
In net will be #51 Jordan Naylor, sporting a .922 save percentage and a 2.96 goals against average. His backup will be #30 Ethan Neitsch who in a preseason game against the Victoria Grizzlies allowed one goal and had a .971 save percentage.
